From May 17 to 30, the program promoted by SISEI returns with six events dedicated to space economy, robotics, industry and science outreach.
The 2026 edition of Orizzonti Infiniti marks a significant step forward in the journey begun by SISEI – Seriana Institute for Space Exploration & Innovation. More than a series of talks, it is a structured project connecting research, innovation, schools, businesses and the local community, with the goal of building a permanent development platform around the space economy.
Space is not a distant or purely scientific topic — it is a concrete opportunity for cultural, technological and economic growth in the region. “With Orizzonti Infiniti we want to build a bridge between advanced research and the territory, making space accessible not only from a cultural standpoint, but also as a real opportunity for businesses, young people and the education system.”
Programme
May 21 (morning) – Towards Space: Technology, Robotics, Future
ISISS Valle Seriana Gymnasium – 10:10 AM
On Thursday May 21 the spotlight turns to students. Fourth-year classes from the Science Lyceum and Technical Institute will take part in an interactive session with guest speaker Eugenio Sorrentino, aerospace journalist and President of SISEI. The programme includes a discussion on space technologies and emerging research scenarios, closing with the award ceremony for the space robotics course certificates.

A Project with a Long-Term Vision
Alongside the events, Orizzonti Infiniti 2026 strengthens its commitment to science outreach and education through school activities and the launch of the new Space Library — a collection of over 100 volumes on space exploration aimed at children, students and enthusiasts of all ages.
The festival is promoted by the Municipality of Gandino and Mars Planet Technologies of Curno, with the active support of Promoserio Industry, Comunità Montana Valle Seriana, University of Bergamo and ISISS Valle Seriana.
